Summary
Recognizing the often tedious experience of waiting in a restaurant for food, I devised an innovative solution: an interactive menu card designed to keep waiting customers engaged and entertained. This thoughtful addition ensures that patrons don't succumb to boredom while awaiting their meals. By introducing interactive elements and engaging activities on the menu card, I intend to transform the waiting period into an enjoyable and engaging experience. This initiative not only adds value to the dining experience but also enhances customer satisfaction by addressing a common pain point in an innovative and creative manner.
Infusing interactivity into my design solutions adds an element of enjoyment. Thus, for this particular project, I introduced an engaging pencil-and-paper game, namely dots and boxes, on the front side of the menu. This addition serves as a delightful pastime for customers who are interested, allowing them to occupy themselves while awaiting their food preparation. By seamlessly blending amusement with functionality, I aim to enhance the overall dining experience and create a memorable interaction between customers and the menu itself.
